Why are some GROWN ALCHEMIST products in plastic rather than glass?Updated 2 months ago

When Grown Alchemist considers what material to use for each product a number of factors are considered including its compatibility and suitability for the formulation, the use experience, aesthetics + design, and most importantly, its environmental credentials. 

Products that are typically going to be used in-shower aren't put in glass due to potential safety concerns in-use if the product is dropped. Large volume items housed in glass are also much heavier and so the carbon footprint of shipping is high; it is much more eco-friendly to use a lighter-weight RPET or aluminum.
